Porta potty delivery across Clark County

Clark County sits farthest north on our Ohio route. Springfield, the county seat, is about 70 miles and 75 minutes from our Bond Hill yard by I-75 to I-70 or I-71 to I-675. Same-day delivery happens when a truck is routed north; otherwise units arrive on the next-day route.

I-70 crosses the county east to west, with interchanges serving Springfield and the logistics sites along the corridor. US-40, the National Road, runs through downtown Springfield. US-68 runs north–south, OH-4 links Springfield with Enon and the Fairborn side, and OH-334 bypasses the south end of the city.

Plan a day or more ahead for jobsite starts so your units ride a scheduled north-route truck.

We serve within Clark County

We serve within Clark County both cities, all 8 villages and all 10 townships. Springfield has its own page with local delivery details. Clifton straddles the Greene County line, and both sides ride the same north route. Rural townships like Moorefield and Harmony get the same weekly service as city jobs.

Clark County road right-of-way and permits

A porta potty inside a Clark County road right-of-way needs a permit through the Clark County Engineer. Township roads in Mad River, Bethel or Pike Township go through the township. Units on private land, like a warehouse lot, farm lane or home driveway, need no right-of-way permit. Ask the road owner before delivery.

Find the Clark County Engineer in the directory on the Clark County website, where county permit documents are also posted. Inside Springfield, call the city before placing a unit near a street.

Clark County Combined Health District and event food

The Clark County Combined Health District is the office to check for food-event rules in Clark County. Vendors at a downtown Springfield festival, a township picnic or a reunion at Buck Creek State Park should ask the district what they need. Vendor handwashing rules can change how many stations you rent.

Call the Clark County Combined Health District before your final count. We do not issue food permits.

Our own recommendation is 1 handwashing station for every 2–3 standard units when food is served. In cold months, hand sanitizer dispensers back up stations that could freeze.

Common porta potty jobs in Clark County

Clark County porta potty work centers on logistics and industrial building along I-70, plus two big summer events. The Clark County Fair runs in late July at the Champions Center, and the Fair at New Boston fills George Rogers Clark Park on Labor Day weekend. Downtown Springfield projects add city jobsite work.

Worked example: a 45-person crew building a distribution center

Under OSHA 1926.51 Table D-1, 20 or more workers need 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. A crew of 45 needs at least 2 standard units.

Our recommendation is 1 unit per 10 workers on a 40-hour week: 5 units with weekly service. A larger crew sharing those units would need a second weekly service day. See industrial restrooms for plant work.

Clark County porta potty questions

Can you get a porta potty to Springfield today?

Springfield is about 75 minutes from our Cincinnati yard, so same-day delivery depends on a truck already heading north. If none is routed that day, your unit rides the next-day route. Call (513) 270-1174 before noon, Monday through Saturday, and dispatch will tell you which applies.

We need restrooms for a private event during fair week in late July. How early should we book?

Late July in Clark County is busy, with the Clark County Fair at the Champions Center drawing crowds. Book as soon as your date is set, because north-route trucks run on a schedule. Restroom trailers need 2–6 weeks' notice from May through October, and cancellation is free until 24 hours before delivery.

How many porta potties does OSHA require for a 45-person building crew?

OSHA Table D-1 requires 1 toilet seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers once a construction crew reaches 20, so 45 workers need at least 2 standard units. Our recommendation for a 40-hour week is 1 unit per 10 workers, or 5 units with weekly service. The legal minimum and our advice are different numbers.

Who handles permits for a unit on a Clark County road?

The Clark County Engineer handles county roads and is listed in the county directory at clarkcountyohio.gov. A township road in Mad River, Bethel or another township goes through that township. Private land needs no right-of-way permit. Inside Springfield, check with the city before placing a unit near the street.

Who sets food rules at a Clark County festival?

The Clark County Combined Health District is the office to check for food-event rules, including handwashing for vendors. Ask before your final restroom count. We recommend 1 handwashing station for every 2–3 standard units when food is served, and the stations work with no power.

Will a porta potty keep working through January on an I-70 jobsite?

From November through March we add non-freezing treatment to every tank, so units keep working through a Clark County winter. Handwashing stations can freeze below 32°F, and hand sanitizer dispensers are the backup. Weekly service continues on the north route schedule all winter.
