When does a jobsite need a handwashing station?
OSHA rule 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities near the work when crews apply paint, coatings, herbicides or insecticides, or handle other harmful contaminants. A handwashing station has 2 foot-pump sinks, about 22 gallons of fresh water, soap and paper towels. The typical starting price is $125 per 28 days, before tax.
Painters, drywall finishers and concrete crews use the station most. We refill the water and restock soap and towels on every weekly service visit, so the station stays on the same schedule as your toilets.

Tight Cincinnati jobsites in Downtown and Over-the-Rhine work when our service truck can park within about 25 feet of the unit. An alley, a rear lot or a fenced staging area all work. On a mid-rise or high-rise job, units stay at ground level near the site gate. We do not carry units through buildings, so plan a spot the vacuum hose can reach from the curb or alley.

Does one porta potty meet OSHA rules for a small crew?
One toilet meets the OSHA minimum for a crew of 20 or fewer workers under 29 CFR 1926.51 Table D-1. For comfort, we suggest 1 standard unit per 10 workers on a 40-hour week with weekly service. Confirm site rules with your general contractor or safety officer, since this page is not legal advice.
Are construction porta potties different from event porta potties?
Construction and event porta potties are the same standard units with a urinal, a seat, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The difference is the rental plan. Jobsite units bill every 28 days with weekly service included, while event units use one flat price for up to 7 days on site.
Can you invoice us net-30 and take a purchase order?
Net-30 invoices, ACH and business checks are available for approved contractor accounts, and purchase orders are accepted. Ask for an itemized quote by email with the job address and PO number, then send that quote through your approval process before delivery day.
Can we lock the jobsite porta potty at night?
Every unit has an inside occupancy latch, and a padlock hasp lets your crew add its own lock after hours. Leave the lock on at the end of the job if you like. Our driver cuts or removes your lock when the unit is picked up.
What happens if the porta potty gets knocked over on the jobsite?
Call (513) 270-1174 when a unit is tipped or vandalized, and we send a truck back to clean it and set it upright. Tell dispatch where the unit sits and what happened. Placing units away from equipment paths and loading zones helps prevent a repeat.
